Job Code: TSO544Number of Openings: 1Job Type: Full Time/ Pay Range :130K - 150K Director of Business Development The person filling this role will be responsible for managing the sales team as well as working with senior consultants in our firm to bring in sales through their relationships.· Manage a team of direct salespersons (currently three people) to achieve $4M in annual sales of professional services.· Develop a sales process that addresses each sales persons role, focus (geography, service line, industry, etc.) and manage the process accordingly.· Establish, prepare and co-lead (with Managing Directors and Service Line Leaders) sales meetings with C-level management of key accounts, resulting in:· Increased levels of engagement of both active and prospective clients· Additional $2M in annual revenue· Drive key BD activities and participate in sales activities resulting in sales and new business to the firm.· Evolve and establish the messages and sales materials of the firm's service lines· Design and establish the support sales and account management processes and roles across the firm which will result in law firm/law department -specific targeted strategies and the management/coordination of BD activities within those specific targets· Create overall business development strategies and tactical approaches to cross-sell services from all of our Service Lines· Present large cross-service deals; presenting services portfolio to large prospects· Work closely with Service Line leaders and consultants involved in BD activities to ensure complete coordination and effective sales approaches and activities· Work with our top consultants to better engage them in BD practices and steer SL leadership in the sameSignificant experience in a professional services environment.· Managed a direct sales force with $5M+ in professional service sales.· Director or similar role in a $30M+ service environment.· Track record in formulating strategy and marketing plans for new business opportunities.· Understanding of technology and knowledge of industry trends, particularly in the legal industry.· Excellent interpersonal skills are required, including strong verbal and written communication skills.· 10-15 years of related experience is required.· Bachelors Degree in related area required, Masters desired.· A strong, independent work ethic and a delivery focused mentality with proven achievements.· Available for heavy travel.If interested in applying to this position, please email resume to or apply at www.tansoncorp.com
