My Client is seeking an Application Support Specialist with Exceptional Communication skills and solid knowledge of the Securities industry. <br><br>
Experience: Responsibilities: <br><br>
• Provide second level technology support for short sale trade execution and settlement systems. <br><br>
• System is currently in UAT testing and will be live by the end of this year, so initial responsibilities will be to support testing and become familiar with the system. <br><br>
• Release management. <br><br>
Skills:<br><br>
• UNIX Shell and Perl scripting <br><br>
• Oracle Application Server, Oracle Internet Directory<br><br>
• SQL, preferably Oracle <br><br>
• Web, MQ, J2EE application support. <br><br>
• Monitoring tools such as Manage Engine <br><br>
• Experience dealing with 1st level (Client Facing) support, 3rd level (Vendor) support, and Infrastructure teams. <br><br>
