Duties:
Defines, documents and manages SIPs (Service Improvement Projects)
Actively participates in all project phases and acts as the single point of contact.
Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of projects
Estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful
completion of each project
Develops project plans, tracks activities against these plans, and provides
regular status reports to stakeholders
Chairs project / service meetings and develops supporting documentation
Drives problem management activities
Experience: Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
10+ years, in technical engineering roles, in complex organizations.
8 + years Windows Server implementation and support with a focus on
web technologies and MS SQL server.
4 + years Unix and Linux Server implementation and support (Solaris
preferred, HP-UX a plus)
5+ years as a project manager for the delivery of complex products,
services and team transitions. Prior team management experience preferred.
2 + years experience with ITIL processes and process improvement.
ITIL certification preferred.
Project Management certification (PMP) is a plus.
