Experience: LAN and WAN connections as well as all servers and operating systems in a small 20 server data center. Candidate must have strong networking skills (TCP/IP, VPN Tunnels and VLans) with proven experience in switch (Cisco, Netgear, Dell), router (Cisco) and firewall (Sonic Wall) configuration and management. Must have 4 or more years experience supporting MS server 2003, Exchange server (2007 a strong plus), SQL server, Active Directory Domains, Symantec End Point Protection and Backup exec, Citrix and Terminal Services. Must have strong familiarity with Neoware Thin Clients, Disaster Recovery Plans, V-Lans, VPN, Windows Mobile, Database Architecture, VOIP concepts and NAS- any experience with VMware and Telecom (Avaya and Toshiba) equipment is a huge plus. Position will act as third level support for the one man Helpdesk and will spend a good deal of time dealing with end user complaints and issues if or when the Helpdesk cannot resolve.
