Our client, a top tier, Wall Street Award-Winning, Global investment banking firm, has an exciting career opportunity for a Junior to Mid-level Core Java Developer with strong analytical and quantitative skills to join their Fixed Income electronic trading team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the development of a real-time analytical calculation engine framework, real-time pricing, and risk models, trading strategies, and execution algorithms.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Core Java developer with a financial firm
- Strong technical skills with multi- threading, messaging middleware, XML, Perl / Shell scripting and database modeling are essential
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills along with a strong financial modeling background
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products including treasuries, bonds, swaps, futures, liquid rates, etc...
- A strong educational background with a degree in Computer Science or Financial Engineering from a top-tier University
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience developing an electronic trading system in a rapid front-office environment
