Job Description and Responsibilities:
. Participate in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities related to Internet and Extranet access within the client, including hardware/software technical support, systems programming/configuration and data center support capabilities.
. Serve as a proficient technical resource providing technical knowledge and support.
. Demonstrated experience in infrastructure design in response to business objectives.
. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of standard processes and functions across the technology organization.
. Participation in after hours support as needed to support production implementation.
Experience: Qualifications
. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of system administration experience.
. Required Skills Strong Unix/Linux administration skills, knowledge of all facets of network (TCP/IP) technology.
. Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
Desired Skills
Project Management fundamentals, knowledge of Internet Security concepts/best practices, Network Appliance and/or SunOne Web Proxy Server configuration/administration.
