Sr. Solutions Consultant/Pre-Sales Engineer

An Industry Leader seeks professional Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer for permanent position. Qualified Candidates will have experience with Integration Solutions, Pre-Sales, Customer-facing, Java, Demo's, Proof of Concepts (POC's) in Financial Services. Experience with an EAI solution such as TIBCO, Seebeyond, MQSeries, Webmethods, etc. is appropriate. A background in software development and architecture is highly desired.

Description
. Work with the prospect's business managers and technical architectural team and clearly describe features and functionality of products.
. Develop and deliver sales thorough presentations, product demonstrations and technical workshops.
. Define requirements and specifications for Proof of Concepts (POC's) and provide project management during the execution of POC's and technical demonstrations.
Experience: . Technical background, with at least 3-5 years of pre-sales experience or working in a similar customer facing position (consulting, product management, etc). . Must have strong presentation skills, with empathy towards the client, and be able to engage in technical dialog during the presentation. . Expertise in one or more of the following: Application packages (SAP, PeopleSoft, I2 etc.) Web/Application Servers (Netscape, Weblogic etc.) Security (RSA Security, PCP, etc.) Component based architectures (COM, CORBA, etc.) Databases (Oracle, Sybase, Informix, DB2, SQL Server etc.) TP Monitors (Tuxedo etc.) .
