JOB SUMMARY This individual will report to the Manager of the Software Center of Excellence in Research & System Architecture and is responsible for testing Embedded and User Interface software. This individual will interface primarily with employees within the software group, although interaction with all those in Research & System Architecture will be required. Responsibilities include configuration management, bench testing, system testing, examining source code, documentation and handling the entire release process for software releases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1) Interface with the Research & System Architecture group to understand current software applications 2) Test Embedded and User Interface software based on the set of system and software requirements 3) Create the builds and documentation for each Software Release 4) Perform a Code Inspection of C++/C# software 5) Manage the Configuration Control of the source code 6) Work with other software team members to ensure the goals are met 7) Perform other related duties as assigned.
