Summary: Our clients Global Derivatives technology group is seeking exceptional application development/support candidates well versed in object-oriented design and programming to utilize their above average IT skills on the highly visible EQUITY FINANCE development team. The successful candidate will have 5+ years relevant C++ programming experience with some knowledge of Java, XML, UNIX, CORBA and Sybase. A working knowledge of financial instruments including Fixed Income, Equities and their derivatives including futures, options and swaps is highly desirable. Principal Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for coding and support of risk and trading, position management and workflow tools and reports to support the rapid expansion of the EQUITY FINANCE trading group in a quick turn-around, responsive and business-aligned environment.

Requirements:-Intermediate to advanced C++-Object Oriented Software Development-Knowledge of some communication protocols (Orbix, Rendezvous, TCP/IP, RPC)-Software development lifecycle-Application Build, Release and support experienceThe following experiences will be a plus:Java, UNIX, CORBA, Sybase and a working knowledge of financial instruments including Fixed Income, Equities and their derivatives including futures, options and swaps.
