We currently have a Sr. Java Developer position available at the firm. Salary is up to 95K depending on experience. The position reports to our Software Development Manager. This position will be responsible for delivering high quality technical solutions to support business needs. This involves interacting with business clients and IT teams to understand and develop business requirements; working with systems architects to translate high level specifications into use cases and object models; and designing, developing and implementing J2EE applications.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years (and current) of hands-on experience in designing and developing applications based on J2EE architecture using EJBs, JSPs, servlets, JDBC, JMS, XML, relational Database, Struts, Web Services (Soap, XML, and WSDL), Websphere experience a plus. Strong expertise of design patterns, UML and object-oriented analysis and design methodology. Proficient at gathering, analyzing, and scoping new user requirements Strong expertise with back-end RDBMS systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to both experts within IT as well as to business clients.
