As an Enterprise Systems Management Engineer you will provide design, development, integration, and implementation services to our clients Systems Monitoring solution based on the Tivoli Enterprise suite of products. In this role, you*ll use your prior experience to implement system software to provide computing services and capabilities as required supporting the business. You*ll participate in the development and periodic upgrades to the Systems Monitoring Strategy, systems monitoring hardware and software enhancements. You*ll also provide ongoing corrective and preventative maintenance to improve reliability and availability of the Enterprise Systems Management infrastructure; as well as prepare proposals, reports, architectures, designs, specifications, and operational documentation.Ensure that application and infrastructure monitoring tools are consistently correlating data across all platforms. Proactively identify opportunities for improving infrastructure monitoring. Work with application owners to review application-monitoring requirements and ensure monitoring facilitates SLA data gathering and reporting.Competencies/Skills:* Excellent writing and oral communication.* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong adaptation abilities.* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.* Ability to effectively interface with platform and application groups to develop monitoring strategies.* Ability to easily express oneself in clear and effective language.
