Our Client, an established Wall Street based law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Help Desk Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: * 2 plus years of law firm Help Desk experience required. MOUS certifications preferred. * Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot word processing applications including macros. Advanced knowledge of remote access applications. Proven computer hardware troubleshooting ability. * Applications supported include: Office XP\2003, WordPerfect, Citrix, iManage, Interaction 5, DirectFax, Comparite, Softwise Innova Macro Suite, and Blackberry devices. * Experience with these applications and technologies is a must: iManage, DeltaView, Interaction, Active Directory, Terminal Services, Blackberry handheld devices, TCP\IP, & Networked Printers. * Effective communication skills with unskilled and highly-skilled PC users. Ability to make quick and clear decisions in accordance with BBS and client site policy. *Available for after hours on call support. **MUST HAVE LAW FIRM HELP DESK EXPERIENCE** Job Duties: The Systems Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support over the phone and at the users desk (including answering user PC and software questions and providing resolution to issues), maintaining a log (data entry) and prioritizing questions into a call tracking system. * Recommends or performs actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system. Researches, provides and documents confident, accurate solutions to user problems on a timely basis. * Evaluates and prioritizes help desk tickets. Effectively escalates and documents all support calls for which resolution at Level 2 is not possible * Maintain the call tracking system through the input of resolutions to issues and/or tracking issues that are escalated to a higher level. * Acquires and maintains a highly competent knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery.
