Application Support Analyst for PeopleSoft Financial in New York, NY

This company is seeking Financial Application Support Analyst currently located in the headquarters running PeopleSoft Financials Systems v8.8.

This application is used by our agencies located across North America. The PeopleSoft v8.8 modules currently in production are: General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchase Order, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Expenses (including Time).

The Application Support Analyst will serve both functional and technical roles in our support model and is charged with a major understanding of the business processes. The Support Analyst is the primary customer interface for our PeopleSoft Financials application support. This is a full time position. There also will be required on-call support activities and off-hour responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:
. Log all incoming questions, issues or concerns from internal customers into helpdesk tracking software.
. Research, resolve, and respond to incoming questions, issues or concerns in a timely manner.
. Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal resource in a timely and efficient manner and follow-through to the conclusion.

Requirements:
. 2 year financial degree or equivalent experience.
. 2+ years experience in application support for a large ERP environment running PeopleSoft Enterprise v8.0 or higher.
. Preferred experience providing support for PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 environment working with the PeopleSoft modules currently in Production.
. Candidate must express an aptitude for application problem solving and a solid work ethic and must be customer focused and the ultimate team player having direct contact with internal customers and staff.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Work well under pressure.
. Possess strong interpersonal skills.
. Experience with Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Other Desired Qualifications:
. Advertising Agency or Professional Services experience.
. Helpdesk tracking software experience.
. Lotus Notes experience.
. Experience with Windows 2000, Windows XP and Mac OSX a plus.
