The individual filling this senior level position will be responsible for the continued enhancements to the company's Risk and Compliance management solutions for the financial services and banking sector, supporting both core product development as well as client delivery projects. Our suite of applications is built on a J2EE-based n-tiered application framework, and utilizes best-of-breed middleware and integration infrastructure.

Experience: Technical Skills:
•5 – 10+ years of non-academic software development experience in Java/J2EE (JSP/Struts/JavaScript/AJAX a strong plus)
•Database development experience with Oracle RDBMS
•Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills (UML, Rational Rose, etc.)
•XML/XSL
•IBM WebSphere Application Server
•Experience on Wintel and/or UNIX platforms
Optional Skills:
•Experience with Hibernate or other O-R mapping frameworks
•Financial services industry experience (investment management a strong plus)
•IBM WebSphere Portal, BEA WebLogic or other J2EE application servers
•Oracle or DB2 DBA experience
•IBM AIX system administration experience
•Knowledge of workflow management systems (IBM MQ Workflow) and/or messaging/queuing systems (MQSeries)
Education Requirements
•BS/BA degree or academic background in computer sciences, math or engineering preferred
