Entry Level PeopleSoft System / Security Admin in New York, NY

This company is seeking an Entry Level PeopleSoft System / Security Administrator, currently located in the headquarters running PeopleSoft Financials Systems v8.8, PeopleTools 8.45.13.

The Entry Level PeopleSoft System / Security Administrator will work with the current team members to assist in the implementation and maintenance of PeopleSoft. This application is used by our agencies located across North America. The PeopleSoft v8.8 modules currently in production are: General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchase Order, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Expenses (including Time).

This is a full time position. There also will be required on-call support activities and off-hour responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:
. Assist with set up, administration and maintenance of PeopleSoft user ID security for production and non-production environments.
. Assist with administering, and maintaining PeopleSoft infrastructure.
. Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of technical infrastructure issues.
. Assist with project migration (object and data) in both the development and production environments.
. Assist with the set up, administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for new users, the PeopleSoft implementation team and PeopleSoft training programs.
. Ensures delivery of equipment to users in different locations, if necessary.
. Performs basic and more complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery.
. Installs and upgrades computer software and network equipment.
. Assists with administering and maintaining check printers.
. Participates in the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.

Required Skills:
. Network Knowledge (Windows XP, 2003 and Macintosh OS X).
. Knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft 8.x security administration (Version 8.8 a plus).
. Understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA).
. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
. Understanding of security audit procedures and practices.
. Ability to work as a team member.
. Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
. Excellent judgment and strong problem solving skills.
. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
. Knowledge of core functionality for some of the aforementioned PeopleSoft modules.

Other Desired Skills:
. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Guidelines.
. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
