Desktop Support Analyst in NEW YORK, NY

My client is looking for an experienced individual that has worked as a Desktop Support professional. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in order to determine how to solve any technical issues that arise. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should be able to have the patience to work with unskilled and highly-skilled PC users, and the ability to make a quick and clear decision in accordance with the company policy. The following skill sets requested are: <br><br><br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada.
Experience: &#149;2 years plus of Desktop Support experience required. <br>

&#149;Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Windows 2000/XP operating systems and applications. Advanced knowledge of remote access applications and experience with WSUS. <br>

&#149;Applications supported include: Outlook, Office XP\2003, and Blackberry devices. <br>

&#149;Experience with troubleshooting Printers (both network and stand alones). <br>

Troubleshooting in a MAC environment a definite plus. <br>

&#149;Able to solve network connectivity problems, understand TCP/IP protocols, and be able to let higher levels of support know specific technical issues in detail. <br>

&#149;Configuring and maintaining MS Server 200x and Exchange 200x required. <br>

Working with MS Registry configurations a definite plus. <br>

The ideal candidate will be able to start immediately. <br>
