Job Description:
Transition/Project Manager responsible for the complete implementation of customer's IT solutions from project starts to customer site go-live. Begin with the analysis/review of the solution for completeness, coordinate & direct the efforts of cross tower teams (h/w-s/w procurement, infrastructure, server, network, middleware, monitoring, customer mgmt center, ops center), routine interface with the customer and the client account team to deliver status & review action items and customer dependencies. Requires the ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work with numerous service line providers, and the ability to recognize the need for escalation when required. Location can be anywhere but extensive travel can be required for some projects. Adaptable and flexible to work environment. Responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project/segment of the project.
Must be able to effectively communicate resource needs and project issues with management / project management. Recognizes and articulates complex problems related to the project. Applies creativity and judgment in development of multiple solutions related to project objectives utilizing recognized project management techniques. Accountable for meeting customer's requirements and obtaining the results of the project or deliverable assigned. Managing financial budgets and tracking actuals. Analyzing contracts , cost cases, and technical solutions.
