Friday, February 08, 2008
A not-for-profit company needs a database developer to continue the development of data-driven and data intensive applications. Last year this company provided over $1 billion in funds for community development and affordable housing across the country.
The position itself requires a MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 developer to work closely with the .NET developer on new and existing applications. The largest application is intensely data driven with a significant amount of business logic built into the stored procedures. Therefore, in-depth knowledge of complex stored procedures and their optimization is required.

The development team is small in number, which requires each individual to proactive and forward thinking. The database developer is expected to be the authority on the data systems and continuously find ways to improve upon the database and delivery of information.
