Rapidly expanding technology firm located in Nassau County seeks a Web Designer/Developer for a five week onsite freelance assignment.
The essential responsibilities are to develop and maintain portals outside of the main site application: Pre-login (public pages, including links to Shareholder.com), post login, the company intranet, and any new portals currently in development. You will also manage the company content management system, ensure user accessibility to sites and improve the sites’ efficiency. The web designer/developer will design the look and feel for these sites based upon established and or modified branding guidelines, create pages for content, adapt existing content to a web-friendly format, creating and maintaining the logical structure of the content, running the web server software, running other web-related software.
The qualified individual will graphically design, prototype and implement web pages, working under the direct supervision of the Sr. Creative Designer and Marketing team. .<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, .asp, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Visual SourceSafe a huge plus.. Layout and design graphics and text in various formats.
