Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Web Developer to assist in updates and enhancements to web pages. The principal duties of the Senior Web Developer include:
-Using PHP, MYSQL, XML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Perl, CGI, and/or other technical knowledge and programming skills to develop searchable/interactive web pages as assigned
-Working with project manager, developers, and designers in creation of dynamic web applications

Experience: This position requires excellent technical knowledge, interpersonal communication skills, creative abilities and a high level of dependability. This position requires ability to complete projects in a timely manner, prioritize tasks, and to recognize the need for and implement improvements during development. Additional requirements include:
-Experience working in a high traffic environment (load balancers, caching, propagation of static generated pages, etc.)
-A Mastery of PHP & MySQL with 3+ years experience
-Understanding of Sub-Queries, Transactions, and Foreign Keys
-Ability to understand Regular Expressions
-Experience working in a command line environment, preferably Linux or FreeBSD
-Experience working with source revision systems such as CVS or Subversion
-Experience with AJAX web applications a plus
-Experience with C++ or Java is a plus
-Experience with Flash 7 or later development a plus
-Knowledge of Online Advertising concepts and development a plus
-Must be familiar with advanced content management systems (CMS).
-The ability to analyze and work with existing code is mandatory
-Candidates must have an accessible online portfolio to showcase their work
-Candidates must supply source code (at least 40 lines) to demonstrate their knowledge
