Cisco Engineer Job Description
My client is a large insurance company, seeks a Cisco Engineer and well rounded IT professional with over 5+ years' experience. This person will be play an active role in the design, implementation, monitoring, problem resolution, disaster planning and overall maintenance of the International network. The Network Engineer will be a core member of the Network Systems team participating in architecture, new designs and enhancements of the network.
Network Engineer/Cisco Requirements:
• Advanced VPN technologies/IPSec (Site-to-Site & Remote Access)
• Advanced routing protocol knowledge – EIGRP/OSPF
• Cisco ISR series routers configuration
• Cisco ASA 5500 series configuration
• Cisco ASA Content Security Modules/Anti-X services configuration
Job functions
• Develop design specifications based on client requirements
• Configure, test and installation of new 3825 routers
• Configure, test and installation of new 5520 firewalls
