Responsibilities:
- Provide physical and logical design specifications, development and testing of computer programs and/or application components
- Translate functional specifications into technical specifications
- Perform prototyping, construction, integration and migration functions
- May assist in platform determination
- Follow rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices, Comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements, and adhere to change control and problem management procedures.
- Participate as a senior developer on a small team building out solutions on a primarily Oracle/J2EE/Actuate environment.
Qualifications:
- Business knowledge of Equities Investments
- Oracle - 8 years
- J2EE - Weblogic - 6 years
- Actuate or similar reporting tool
- Informatica or similar ETL tool
- MQ, Web Services preferred
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
- Good communication skills
- 6 to 10 years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis
- CFA candidate preferred
