Our client is a provider of Windows-based integrated litigation support software and they are seeking a strong QA Analyst for their office in Westchester County, New York.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will have a comprehensive understanding of the Software Quality Assurance process along with the ability to:
-Develop Test cases (Functional and Regression)
-Execute Test Scripts
-Document Defects and create Project Defect Matrices
-Track Defects to Resolution / Work-around
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and execute test scripts and test cases
. Provide regular reports on test status, and risk assessments on product quality and features;
. Perform reliability, regression, usability, stress, performance, security and other types of testing as appropriate.
. Work with development team members and QA lead to identify and resolve defects identified by the test team
. Developing cycles, sub-cycles, and test conditions, executing scripts and recording results
. Documenting, researching, and communicating defects discovered during script execution
. Streamline and enhance the testing lifecycle to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integrated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 - 4 years in QA experience or equal product knowledge/testing activities

. Experience testing desktop/Web based applications
. Microsoft Windows Products
. Lotus Notes / Outlook / Other Electronic Mail Systems
. SourceSafe
. Defect Tracking Tools

. Automated Test Tools Concept
. Relational Database Concepts
. SQL
. Demonstrate excellent communication/interpersonal skills (verbal / written / relationship)
. Able to Multitask
EDUCATION
4 Year College Degree Preferred or Equivalent work experience preferred.
