BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T's Central Technology Division, the ATM and Check Card business generates significant revenue for the Bank and is key to servicing our customers. The successful candidate will participate in the changeover of our ATM network to the Windows environment, along with the implementation of exciting new functionality.RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and makes recommendations. Converts Business Requirements into clear, concise and complete Functional Specifications. Develops test plans and test scripts and performs testing. Day-to-day support of the production environment, addressing problems/issues of small to medium scope. Maintains a good functional understanding of the supported systems. Develops a thorough understanding of supported business functions, processes and operations.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Two to four years college or 4 years experience in a related technology/systems analysis. Strong analytical skills, quickly grasps new concepts. Detail oriented. Self motivated, Takes initiative. Time management, Organization, Multitasking. Excellent verbal and written communication. Works well in team environment (shares information, assists others).IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of Alternative Banking ATM and Check Card business and processes. Knowledge of interfacing applications (Hogan Deposits, CIS, Common Entry, General Ledger). Experience with managing and troubleshooting software installations in a Microsoft Windows XP environment. Experience with diagnosis and resolution of Microsoft Windows XP environment and Web page design problems. Familiarity with database concepts.
