Our midtown based client is looking for a Senior Interaction Application Developer in the Global Applications team to fill an immediate need to build and maintain applications supporting their interactive agencies. Their interactive groups represent the fastest growing segment of their business and the intersection of technology and media provides a dynamic backdrop for this position. The ideal candidate must have extensive development experience with Web-based products in a Microsoft .NET/C# environment, familiarity with an agile development methodology and the ability to work directly with business owners to capture and implement solutions for business requirements. The successful candidate will be outgoing, a self-starter and used to working with non-technical business people.
Job Responsibilities
· Teaming with business owners to collect, prioritize and implement application solutions.
· Estimating and scheduling technical tasks, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.
· Implementing solutions architecture as well as the clients overall enterprise architecture: including the development of scope and approach documents, design documents, and proof of concept applications.
· Implementing, installing and maintaining complex databases, including: Data Modeling, Schema development, Database installation and creation, SQL programming, Stored procedures, Triggers, Capacity planning, User management, Storage management, Database monitoring and maintenance, Change management, Database tuning, Backup and recovery, Disaster recovery planning.
· Preventing defects and identifying defects throughout the project lifecycle though specification reviews, code reviews and developer collaboration.
· Supporting of deployed applications where necessary.
Technical Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Proven problem solving skills incorporating build and buy solutions
· Experience working as part of an Agile-based team
· Advanced knowledge of .Net, ASP.Net and VSTO development and supporting tools
· Working knowledge of VB.Net, C# and SQLServer, as well as Web Services architecture and implementation
· 3+ years of n-tier application experience

· A proven ability to work independently and ensure the delivery of high quality, reliable software in a fast-paced setting.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to both business and technical people.
· Flexible schedule to accommodate meetings with Business and Project Teams.
