Job Title: iSeries Systems Administrator - REMOTE

W-2 Contract position: Duration 12 Months
Project Description:
Provides iSeries services to install operate and maintain complex centralized and/or distributed computer systems. Understands and ensure compliance of one or more Systems Management Control (SMC) disciplines.
The major responsibilities encompasses Service Delivery, Delivery Operations and may
include:
- Designs, implements and coordinates complex system solutions to ensure acceptable performance levels with proven and advanced systems technologies.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problem situations for systems, networks and applications.
- Operates iSeries computer systems.
- Advises vendors in technical/operational domain of specialization.
- Implements, maintain or direct the business recovery plan and procedures for major systems.
- Plans, coordinate and perform work activities and assignments in support of systems, networks, I/O sub-systems, peripherals and applications.
Work Shift: 1st shift
Weekend Coverage: Weekend coverage is required.
On Call: Needs to be on-call
Travel Required: Travel is not required.
