Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Flash Developer to lead and grow our Flash
development team in New York. This person will translate business requirements
and technical specifications into Flash-based prototypes, presentations, and
applications. the company offers a great opportunity to work with amazing media and
entertainment brands such as NBC, MTV and Turner (to name a few) and produce
ground-breaking technology across our digital marketing, website design and
development clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
.Scripting of Flash Interfaces and Applications in ActionScript 3.0
.Development of client-server Flash applications including the integration of multiple
external data sources
.Communication with Project Management staff to prioritize project requirements
.Work with Senior Flash Designers to maintain design integrity throughout Flash
experience
.Work with technical director to integrate site with backend if project requires
. Stay up-to-date on new Flash- and web interface-related technologies, and
changes in technologies that affect web-based application development
.Maintenance of ongoing projects
.Documentation of work
Required Skills and Background:
.At least 5 years work experience in the web development / IT sector (for example
at an interactive agency)
.Full knowledge of ActionScript 2.0 & 3.0
.Good understanding of Object Oriented development and design
. Solid experience with full Object Oriented ActionScript development (object
creation, inheritance, interfaces, developing externalized classes, etc.)
. Experience with client/server Flash development
. Solid understanding of XML integration with Flash and other web-based
scripting languages.
. Familiar with CSS / HTML / Javascript / AJAX
. Cross browser, cross platform development experience
. Experience working on large-scale complex multi-tiered web applications
. Must be an effective communicator (written and oral), highly motivated and
detail-oriented
. Work independently with minimum supervision and be a valuable contributor in
an interactive team environment
