Ecommerce Architect-Biztalk or Commerce Server a must in New York, NY

My Client is looking for an E-Commerce Web Application Architect to work as part of a larger applications team rebuilding a large e-commerce web site and its surrounding infrastructure. This position is located in our New York City office. <br></p>


Responsibilities: <br></p>


Provide technical leadership and guidance to a broader applications team rebuilding a large, e-commerce web site using a Microsoft technology stack (.NET 2.0, Commerce Server 2007, BizTalk Server 2006, SQL Server 2005). <br></p>
Design and develop end-to-end solutions encompassing the user interface, business logic, and data tiers <br></p>
Effectively translate business requirements into technical designs <br></p>





Qualifications: <br></p>


3-5 years designing and implementing web-based e-commerce systems using ASP.NET and C# <br></p>
2-4 years in data design and development <br></p>
Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented <br></p>
Must have strong problem solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills <br></p>
Will possess the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical designs <br></p>
Will have had solid experience with a proven software development life cycle methodology <br></p>
Highly desirable skills include: <br></p>
Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 <br></p>
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 <br></p>
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 <br></p>
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 <br></p>
Microsoft Enterprise Library 2008 <br></p>
Oracle 10g <br></p>
Oracle E-Business Suite <br></p>
Experience in digital media industry <br></p>
CSS/JS/XML experience is also a plus<br></p>
