Ensure that support processes are followed with regarding to issue resolution and problem management. Properly log issues and resolutions utilizing Best Practices and standard tools. Perform first and second-line support responsibilities. Ensure proper escalation procedures are followed. Ensure that the team's Service-Level Agreements for issue resolution and remediation are adhered to. Ensure that the team's Knowledge Base stays current. Work with delivery managers to reduce the support profile of existing applications. Drive the resolution of recurring issues at a systemic level. Work effectively with team members in other locations situated globally.
Experience: Title: Endur application support role Qualifications Essential:· 3-5 years in Development or Support function· Experience in dealing with business lines in a face to face manner· Experience of Endur application · Oracle - 10G· SQL - PL/SQL · Unix - Solaris · Windows Desktop - XP and Vista· Windows Server - 2000 and 2003· OpenLink - Endur · Proven ability to work under pressure· Self motivated, curious· Fast learner· Deductive skills to decipher solutions to problems in a production environment.Desirable:· Commercial Banking· Knowledge of Power, Oil, Metals, Commodities trading · Java/C· Unix Scripting
