start Date is 10/27 and will run until January,
Location: NYC and surrounding area
Must have reliable transportation
OVERVIEW
responsible for implementing new technologies throughout the NYC area
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Take direction from Team Lead while following integration check list
. Maintain professional appearance while maintaining professional demeanor
. Completion of assigned technology implementation projects at client sites including LANs and WANs, Wireless networks, desktop and laptop multi-user environments.
. Integrating LAN/WAN components (network cabling, topologies and protocols.)
. Installation and configuration of wireless profiles utilized in client solutions including Windows XP and 2000 and Mac OS X.
. Installation of various hardware products, Cisco switches and routers, various desktop servers, printers, peripherals products and wireless hardware.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical requirements:
? One to two years experience implementing / setting-up LAN/Wireless environments including desktops, laptops, servers and peripheral hardware.
? Solid understanding and experience with installing and configuring Operating Systems: Windows 2000, XP, NT 4.0, and Mac OSX.
? Basic knowledge of troubleshooting concepts
? Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, AppleTalk, etc.)
? Wireless networking experience
