A well known financial institution in the New York City area is looking for a Financial Business Analyt with experience in balances.
Subject Knowledge Requires:
Account Types, Accounting balances, margin, margin payouts (equity, buying power), real time margin calculations.
Requirements:
Candidate is required to have strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support given project.
- Business experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project.
- Hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained (generally the folks would have transitioned to project management/analysis some time in the career).
- Looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve as a subject matter expert in support of the project, thus would expect that the candidates are senior analysts.
Experience: Responsibilities:
All aspects of the project including:
- coordinate meetings,
- working with end users in requirements gathering
- drafting business requirement and functional specification documents,
- publishing minutes of meetings,
- maintaining project plans,
- ensuring complete test scripts are developed by the QA team
- coordinate activities with IT.
- Use guide preparation/training (may be required for some projects)
They would need to be proficient in the basic MS Office applications as well as MS VISIO. There would not be a junior staff to support the candidate-for the most part the individual would need to perform all these tasks.
