Our client in the Buffalo, NY area is seeking a Project Manager for a full time opening. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of project management, providing project planning, budgeting, and administration. The candidate will consult with teams to maintain project objectives, clarify processes for team members, and communicate team decisions to senior management. The Project Manager will coordinate and facilitate the project activities using standard project management tools and methodologies to assure project goals are accomplished in accordance with priorities, time, and resource and funding limitations.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or relevant discipline with an MBA highly preferred
- Extensive health care management and project management experience may be considered in lieu of appropriate degree
- Minimum of five years of project management experience
- PMP Certification highly preferred
- Demonstrated project management skills, including strong analytical capacity, ability to facilitate teams, and proficiency with project management software
- Five plus years of health care insurance industry experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understand the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI)
