Our client in the Buffalo, NY area has an immediate need for two Program Managers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the coordination, communication, and execution of projects supporting the Corporate Strategy/Business Transformation roadmap. The candidate will work with various project managers to ensure project dependencies are managed and risks to project deliverables are mitigated. The program manager will lead all aspects of project and program management for an integrated program consisting of a set of inter connected component activities, and/or a group of associated, separate programs. The candidate will demonstrate decisive, resourceful, and collaborative expertise that favorably impacts the results of project initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Five to seven years of demonstrated multi-dimension project management experience
- PMP Certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead business/IT based initiatives to a successful outcome
- Experience with Business Process Management design and implementation
- Demonstrated and proven understanding or project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management and staff
- Experience implementing and supporting packaged application systems
- Able to work a minimum of forty hours per week with overtime as needed
- Understand the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI)
