Our client is looking for a <b> Senior Systems Engineer </b> with 5+ years of IT Implementation / Support experience. The Systems Engineer is responsible for working directly with the Infrastructure team with architectural design, technical strategy, and senior support for a Microsoft Server environment. <br><br>The Engineer will be a member of the infrastructure team behind the technology strategy and design. We need someone with experience supporting a production environment as apposed to desktop and exchange users. Disaster recovery planning and design experience is also key. <br><br> <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Skills and experience in the following are required: <br><br>

• Advanced knowledge with Windows Server 2000/2003 Backend Infrastructures as well as migrations. <br>
• Experience working in a SQL and .Net Server platform environment. <br>
• Experience with server virtualization <br>
• Microsoft Clustering and Load Balancing <br>
• Experience with NetApps Storage. <br>
• Strong knowledge of software development.<br>
• Knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl or VB. <br>
• Familiarity with RunBooks is a very strong plus. <br>
• Experience with SAN technologies (ex. EMC SAN) <br>
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005<br>
• Experience with SharePoint Server <br>
• Experience with VMWare ESX. <br>
• SAN and NAS experience<br>
• At least one of the following: MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNE, CNA are highly desirable<br>
• A Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
