Role: Quality Assurance Analyst, Quality Assurance, New York.
The purpose of this role is to provide hands on support for the QA testing process. The scope of this position is to support all testing efforts related to QA in the equity and fixed income business areas and includes :
. establishing and maintaining a well-defined process between Development and QA teams.
. developing test cases and ensuring high quality of delivered products.

Technical Skills
. In depth experience in writing and updating Test Plans and Test Cases.
. Experience with life cycle stages of software development including requirements management, design technical specifications, in addition to implementation and testing.
. Experience with UNIX, SQL, Mercury Quality Center and MS Office
. Experience in QA automation tools including Quick Test Pro as well as Load Runner for performance testing.
Business Knowledge
. An understanding of the Equity trading business and in particular the Fidessa application in the US.
Primary Objectives:
. Design, implementation and documentation of QA test scripts ensuring complete functional test coverage.
. Support all test activities, enhance, develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, record and track software discrepancies. All test scripts and defects are managed through Mercury Quality Center.
. Work with Project Stakeholders and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality.
. Ensure that all domain knowledge and test cases are articulated and structured well to enable swift execution by any other member of the QA team.
. Provide QA project overview to QA management in NY and progress tracking using QA tool -Mercury Quality Center to enter, run and manage test cases, defects and report results.
. Work closely with Development and the Clients on requirement review and prompt follow-up on open questions.
. Responsible for executing test scripts with a strong focus on teamwork and successful execution of the project.
