Hyperion Systems Analyst in PURCHASE, NY

Responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations related to all Hyperion applications/systems • Outline maintenance (create new members and maintain outline) • Ensure system availability. Review night process to ensure accuracy of data. Address issue with the appropriate team (network, DW, …) • Communicate with users for system availability • Manage on demand refresh of GL and Planning systems • Define technical instructions based on business requirements Month End process • Maintain mapping between GL and Group Chart Of Account • Implement calc script to reproduce Group calculations (FX, ST, split of markets…) • Support data transfer to PRISMA (HFM Group reporting tool) Project management, as needed, for strategic finance projects including: • Design and implementation of systems and processes supporting finance functions (Month end reporting, Budgeting /Forecasting) Support • First and second level of support for all existing applications, including BO specifics Contact: Experience: Experience / Background: • 3 to 5 years experience in Essbase development, including automation. Knowledge of MAXL, batch processes and ASO is required. VB script knowledge is a plus. • Experience and good understanding of GL systems, brand analysis, consolidation and reporting. Ability to interact with other departments (at all levels) in order to harmonize shared information across the company. c. Required skills/Competencies: • Solid communication skills, both written and oral, are mandatory to handle relation with Finance • Must be organized and focused. Attention to detail is important. • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Flexibility to adjust to new requirements and multitasking. • Position requires ability to quickly shift priorities to adapt to changing requirements by local management /parent company.
