Java Developer (Senior) with Market Risk in New York, NY

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Market Risk experience for our client, a top Investment Bank located in New York. In this role, you will be doing a combination of J2EE and Core Java. It is essential to have a strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and understand the fundamentals of multi-tier architectures. Additionally, will also be highly competent in SQL, understand how to write SQL queries and have strong experience with one of the major RDBMS. Must also have experience working with Market Risk and be able to create and maintain the enterprise Market Risk platforms. The platform is a backend service that computes both general market and specific risk, and a series of application that allow Risk Managers to interact with the service. The front end applications are primarily web-based. Experience: Required Skills/Experience: - Core Java and J2EE. - Server Side Development. - Object Oriented Design. - Multi Tier Architecture. - Strong RDBMS. - Market Risk experience.
