Linux Analyst in Corning, NY

Project Duration: 12/31/09 Project Location: Binghamton/Elmira, New York About the Job: CTG has an immediate need for a Linux Analyst with our client located in Binghamton/Elmira New York area. Day to Day Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting of Linux systems with primary focus on enterprise database servers/clusters Linux system backup administration/monitoring using EMC Networker System management and monitoring automation Scripting Troubleshooting issues such as system errors, poor system performance Centralized configuration management Performance data management/trending Project resource Participation in on-call rotation (typically 1-2 weeks per quarter) Other responsibilities may include: Hardware management Linux server and desktop administration and support for Scientific Computing environment Control-M system and operational management If interested in pursuing please send your resume to Denise M.
