• Responsible for 1st and 2nd level of OBIEE Help Desk responsibilities including answering all incoming e-mail and phone messages, complex problem solving of CHD issues, and required documentations (HEAT tickets, Help Desk manuals, and Change Control tickets, status reports, etc.). Problem solving of BI issues requires understanding of end to end system to follow data trail from source system through to the BI front end. • Responsible for Web based applications’ Help Desk including answering all incoming e-mails and phone messages, complex problem solving, documenting all issues, and required documentations (HEAT tickets, Help Desk manuals, and Change Control tickets, status reports, etc.) • Responsible for 100% of Logility and DME Technical Help Desks tasks including answering all incoming e-mail and phone messages, complex problem solving (together with Business Help Desk) of THD issues, documenting all procedures, ensuring the successful nightly and daily completion of the managed data deliveries, and documenting all issues in Heat. Contact: Experience: • Knowledge of standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures • Strong communication skills both written and oral as well as ability to work independently or in a team environment is highly desired • Strong troubleshooting background and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of the OBIEE RPD to support local maintenance of the Meta Data Layer for BI Reporting. • Java Software Development using JSP, XML, JMS, JMX, Web Services, J2EE, Java applets, servlets and Java server pages • Excellent Problem Solving and Design Skills • Proficiency with database technologies (SQL Server and Oracle) • Familiarly with Photoshop and Macromedia software, including Flash, is a plus • Experience with Desktop analysis and reporting tools including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and advanced Google searches. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability and willingness to learn new applications rapidly. • Ability to create clear and accurate documentation procedures and willingness to continually use and update documentation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
