Pipeline candidates Since it has taken so long to find someone they already built the components. Now they just need a very strong flex developer. Not someone who just built a UI. A real flex develer. Veery strong blaze ds. Must have skinned the application. Wants financial services experience. looking for strong FLEX developer to work on portfolio tool being roled out for PCWS. Building components knowledge is a plus. Should have experience with MPC and Blaze DS. (Sybase, Oracle, working knowledge of DB2) Java/J2EE knowledge. Should have experience with equities, bonds, funds, etc. Will be working on client summary and balances screens for portfolios. Skills: Development Tools Windows No 1 Intermediate 5-6 Within 1 Year 1 - 2 Years Packaged Applications GUI No 9 Expert 9-10 Currently Using 2 - 4 Years Programming Languages J2EE No 1 Intermediate 5-6 Within 6 months 2 - 4 Years Protocols Java No 1 Intermediate 5-6 Within 1 Year 2 - 4 Years Web Tools WebLogic No 1 Intermediate 7-8 Within 6 months 2 - 4 Years Additional Skills: Programming Skills: 1. Candidate should have ?Hands-On? experience developing reusable Flex Custom Components. 2. In-Depth Knowledge of Flex component internals, styling (CSS), and skinning is a must. 3. Strong and proven experience designing server components using BlazeDS, Flex Data Services, or LiveCycle Data Services. 4. Knowledge of Clearcase and ANT. 5. Should be able to translate requirements to technical design. 6. Knowledge of Weblogic and/or Flex Charting is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities: The FLEX UI Component Developer will be responsible for developing reusable components by extending and customizing the existing Flex framework. Meet with UI interface people to understand the intent and determine whether proposed designs are feasible within performance parameters Maintain and upgrade a library of components Provide both user and technical design documentation Provide code examples for component use U Job Family Description: Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
