We have an immediate need for a Storage Program Manager & Server Build Program Lead JOB DESCRIPTION Large IT Corporation are in need of a Storage Program Manager & Server Build Program Lead (URGENT NEED) Location: Poughkeepsie, NY Brief Description of Project: PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND TASKS Job Description: Storage Program Manager & Server Build Program Lead: Responsible for ensuring Storage Management & Server Build customer requirements are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of solutions. Responsible for the overall project, recovery for the Storage solution, and Server Build work tasks, schedule, deliverables, managing issues, risk and using delivery processes and tools. Incumbents are required to manage efforts to ensure that an integrated solution is provided to meet the customer needs for these two areas in support of the the client account Tasks and skills include: Project management, process management, negotiations and issue resolution, communications, leadership, planning. Roles and Responsibilities of Storage of Program Manager - Manage a program around storage where our Delivery Program Office is fully recovered for the storage that the Program Office buys and sells on an end to end basis. Create/manage processes for storage adds, returns, and modifications which include developing policies and associated processes around storage on our virtualized servers; Determining how to best handle custom requests. Similar roles and responsibilities will be required for the Server build program, from managing issues around the server build request process through the delivery of the server with an image loaded to steady state. Special Skill Requirements: Requires: Knowledge of the account delivery teams. Knowledge of project management concepts (Knowledge/some job experience ) Implement Storage Solutions / SAN Services (Expert, can lead others) Apply Knowledge of Platforms (Knowledge/some job experience) Apply Process Management (Knowledge/some job experience) Support AIX Operating System build steps (Expert / can lead others) TAKE ACTION!
