New York- ( USA )-Prestigious Tier 1 Bank seeks Algorithmic Trading systems technologist- C# AND C/C++, Shell, Perl, Linux/unix Circa $175,000 plus significant bonus package The Algorithmic trading team is seeking an experienced trading systems technologist to build, maintain, and provide support to a critical Real Time trading system (Flextrade ). All aspects of this application need to be covered including releasing, configuring, writing code within, debugging, etc. Successful Flextrade systems technologists (C#) will interface with technology managers to build and maintain monitoring tools (Perl, csh, ksh, sql), with compliance managers to create and update program trading compliance reports (OATS, OTS, DPTR, ACT) and with business users to provide support, capture requirements and provide solutions. Strong Experience coding in C/C++ in a Unix environment Strong Experience coding in C# Experience in Shell Scripting (csh, ksh) and Perl Program trading and/or Algorithmic trading desk experience Experience (in depth) with Flextrade is HIGHLY preferred Strong experience with Unix/Linux (shell, perl) Experience working with FIX message format (4.0, 4.2) is HIGHLY preferred Above all, raw talent and expert trading systems experience (C#) is a HIGHLY preferable. For this role within a flexible and unique team, frequent interaction with business users and technologists across the firm and around the globe will be required.
