DescriptionOur client, a Global Leader in Commercial and Personal Insurance Solutions, is seeking a Process Architect - Financial Accounting Permanent positionLocation: New York, NY Role Description: The process architect is responsible for identifying opportunities to create business value and defining the system capabilities necessary to realize these opportunities. The process architect designs cross-application business processes that maximizes data integrity and leverages standard application functionality. The process architect partners with other architects to assess the alignment of individual projects to the overall architectural blueprint and release plan. Responsibilities: Understands the company's business strategy, operating vision, business imperatives and capabilities and how they affect technology initiatives Consults with customers across multiple sites, multiple disciplines, and multiple countries to define the application landscape that supports and enhances the business strategies Creates cross-application process flows that defines how the components of all applications relate to each other Creates business process designs that best leverage standard application functionality Identifies and resolves process, application and data issues that affect overall solution integrity Advocates and enforces applicable standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of application or application modules Demonstrates proficiency in areas of business continuity, security and data privacy; ensures systems are designed and built with appropriate levels of protection Required Skills: Understanding of Financial Accounting (General Ledger, Inter-company, Projects, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable) business processes Deep knowledge of the SAP ECC 6.0 application including parallel ledger functionality Deep knowledge of business process design concepts and principles Demonstrated ability to transform customer requirements into application designs Facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings Ability to manage all facets of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to support a multi-site, multi-country customer base Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others Results oriented and demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness Experience/Qualifications: Minimum 10 years professional experience Minimum 5-10 years SAP experience Managed project team through 2 or more SAP implementations and/or upgrades Background in finance and Insurance industry Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
