Description Our client, one of the largest financial services firms, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst. Contract Position Location: New York, Jersey City, Warren, NJRole: The Senior BA will join a team responsible for coordinating Electronic Trading projects with an annual budget of over several million dollars. The primary objective is to work with business managers and IT team leaders to plan, define and execute the projects according to the standard project methodology and deliver technology that provides a sustained competitive advantage for the Equities business and its clients, and to achieve this in a cost effective manner. The role encompasses working with several other groups including Quality Assurance, Management reporting, tracking the project budget vs. expense and IT policies and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Understand completely the business strategy and forging a partnership with business Coordinate the definition and management of key projects and ensure that they get delivered on-time and on-budget meeting expectations of all stakeholders. Understand the internal IT methodology and procedures and ensure that they are followed appropriately in the department. Produce the key management summaries including the periodic status reports EXPERIENCE Proven track record of leading multiple large projects/programs with good knowledge of the Equities business. Knowledge of FIX protocol, algorithmic trading and matching engines is desirable.
