Description Our client, one of the top US investment banks, offering securities underwriting and trading, mergers and acquisitions advice, research, private equity investment, and risk management products, is seeking a Mainframe Security Expert. Location: New York, NY Type of Position: Contract Service Quality and Delivery: Operational responsibility for administering Level 2 requests for DB2, CICLIENT, AS400 and Datasets. Assist in the ongoing maintenance of a CLIST application used to administer ACF2 accounts. Work closely with Mainframe Infrastructure & UAT teams to define rules/CICLIENT regions for new environments. Control: Execute health checks across the Mainframe & midrange environments to ensure compliancy with SOX and Audit points. Respond timely to Audit/SOX queries Continuous Improvements: Analyze current Mainframe & midrange environments to initiate proposals for improvements/efficiency gains in alignment with client requirements. Enhance existing utilities to better serve our clients, focusing on data/rule cleansing and reporting utilities. Play an active part in the strategic direction of Mainframe administration in the Investment Banking organization. Required Skills: Minimum 7 years of mainframe/midrange security administration (GSO records, SAF definitions, ACF2 Control records, etc.) Minimum 7 years in sys programming experience essential (CLIST, SAS, ISPF etc) Extensive knowledge of JCL s. A proven track record of writing complex mainframe/midrange security products.
