Description PM needs 8-10 years overall experience with some strong Smartstream experience.Our client, one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, is seeking a Project Manager. Location: New York, NY Type of Position: Contract The purpose of the role is to work as project manager of the US work stream of the Global Reconciliation Programme Description/Responsibilities: All aspects of project management for the migration of reconciliations and investigation/exception management workflow from the Legacy IntelliMatch and IntelliTracs systems to the strategic SmartStream TLM application. Co-ordinating all aspects of the project and resources involved within the project work stream, with particular emphasis on working in full partnership with the business project manager, and the business resources. Daily liaison with the local Business project manager and subject matter experts, to ensure all local resources are kept informed of all aspects of the project work stream, and that the project is working to plan. management of any vendor consultants, that may be required to assist in the project work stream. Production of all required Project Management documentation, including project plans, resource profiles, SOX documentation and status reporting. Management of all project work stream risks and issues Ensure all reconciliations conform to appropriate regulatory controls. Being the point person on the ground in the US for the UK-based programme manager and ensuring all overseas resources (UK, Hong Kong and India) are kept fully informed of the status of the project and the tasks they are required to perform. Timely and accurate production of all required Project Management documentation, including project plans, bi weekly project status reports, Project Steering Committee submissions, resource profiles, SOX documentation etc. Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent Project Management Skills Team Leading Capability Knowledge of TLM Reconciliations Strong user/customer facing skills essential Preferred Qualifications: Experience of the IntelliMatch/TLM applications Experience of business analysis and system design in financial applications Understanding and experience of banking concepts, ideally reconciliations Experience of working with client/server architectures Additional Information Pro-active approach to all aspects of the role Conscientious - a ?finisher Excellent problem solving skills Team Leader Able to keep a cool head under pressure To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
