The group handles products in the quantitative space specifically within excel add in, market QA, Analytics & Datafeeds, etc. The Product Manager will beresponsible for advancing product strategy, requirements, and roadmap across the Excel & Analytics pillar. The successful candidate will report to the head of product management within the Content Strategy, Delivery & Quantitative Analytics division. This candidate will interact with the product and technical teams to collect and manage requirements, drive development, improve end-to-end capabilities/performance, and enhance support of the Excel and Analytics capabilities of Common Platform 1.5. Within the pillar, there are about 10 products including 2 Excel, 4 Backend Systems, Desktop Calculators, etc. The associate will ensure all is consistent across the board and delivered on time. A verifiable track record of success in defining/refining product requirements for enterprise software products focused on the financial markets is required. Detailed Responsibilities: - Manage cross-product requirements to ensure alignment across the Excel & Analytics pillar. - Contribute to overall product strategy, market/product requirements, and product roadmap - Work collaboratively with Verticals to drive and create product strategy - Interact regularly with senior management within company as well as customers - Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers, services, and sales organization and drive product direction to ensure that product capabilities meet market needs and offer significant differentiation. - Manage Beta programs and customer engagements - Engage with and facilitate communications amongst existing team of successful product managers Required Skills and Competencies: - 5+ years experience in product management/product development - Bachelors degree (preference to top tier schools - i.e. Harvard) - Must have a proven Product Management track record of success in defining/refining product requirements for software products - Track record of managing high performing teams - Ability to manage complex product, meet deadlines and drive accountability - Drive and manage global product strategy - Proven ability to identify key customer and market requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements - Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
