DescriptionOur client, a Global Leader in Commercial and Personal Insurance Solutions, is seeking a Deployment Lead. Permanent positionLocation: New York, NY Role Description: Set the Initiative standards for deployment tools, methods and approaches (eg, fit-gap process, business readiness assessments). Create integrated work plan for deployment components across the GI FT Initiative. Responsibilities: Work with the solution architects and the project leads to define deployment requirements. Define the integrated work plan, schedule, budget, and required personnel for deployment Assess application and training readiness for application deployment Work with the test lead to monitor and evaluate the pilot results Plan and evaluate simulations and pilots Work with the training administrator to schedule and execute application training Ensure adherence of deployment activities to all quality management plans and standards Participate in quality management reviews Manage cross release, cross unit ownership of deployment issues and interdependencies Ensure organizational readiness and sponsor commitment for deployment. Required Skills: Develop and manage all aspects of the deployment effort, including the plans, interdependencies, schedule, budget, tools, and required personnel Define, implement, and maintain project process guidance related to deployment Provide technical leadership to project resources and local business management to meet deployment deadlines and objectives Design and develop solution pilots and simulations that meet functional, technical, and performance requirements Develop the methods, procedures, and standards to use during deployment Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards Document and communicate the status of deployment progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks concerning system deployment and maintenance activities, escalating them as needed Experience/Qualifications: 5 years or more of SAP experience Global implementations preferred Minimum of two full life cycle SAP implementations which include heavy emphasis on SAP Financials Project management experience on SAP projects Prior consulting experience Bachelor's degree required either in Accounting or Information Technology Master Degree in either Accounting or IT a plus Project Management certification a plus Financial services industry a plus To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
