Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Project Manager.Contract position, 6 months durationLocation: New York, NYSeeking an experienced process/system person to join the PSAG Implementation team focusing on project, process and data quality. This encompasses data analysis, quality assurance, client interactions and tactical solution creation/implementation. Required skills: Project management background: ability to successfully manage and prioritize numerous simultaneous large projects, small tasks and ad-hoc requests Ability to work independently and to drive projects to completion, while proactively ensuring project teams and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date and expectations properly managed Fast learner with a good memory Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to succinctly articulate complex concepts Effective time management, relationship management, negotiation and prioritization skills Thorough knowledge componentized applications, data models and referential data sources Ability to manage a fast-paced, front-line environment with demanding, global users Qualified candidates have a strong background in project management for technology projects, business analysis, solution 'tooling', and cross-team coordination and communication. Additional experience in developing tactical and/or strategic technology solutions in support of production users.The successful candidate is able to understand complex data rules and logic, manage numerous simultaneous projects, and is an active contributor to strategic and technical discussions.
