* Managing, Building, and leading a team of Software and Support Engineers.
* Working with development teams and product managers to support products.
* Responsible for Crisis response and prevention.
* Support Application Production
* Run platform upgrades/outages
* Hire and train new employees
* Co-manage different teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Mentor team members on technical aspects.
* Interact with Clients in regards to technical issues.
* Write specifications for internal enhancement tools.
* Bridge client requests with the appropriate department.
* After-hours availability for escalations.
Knowledge required:
* Managing small technical staff
* Managing production crisis
* Project management skills
* Internet protocols, technologies and application
* Delivery for web-based applications
* Apache, Oracle, Perl, shell, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, CGI, Linux
* Hands-on scripting and system administration skills
* Communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
* Managing in an agile or test driven environment a plus
